Travel Information
Qantas Airways, Virgin Blue and Jetstar operate flights to Cairns from major Australian cities and offer a range of flights and times to suit most schedules. To book your flights, go to the relevant website:

Prior to confirming and paying for a flight reservation online, please ensure you read the Terms and Conditions of travel, as flights are usually non-refundable once booked. Please ensure you make your flight booking in the name of your photo identification so you do not have any problem at check-in. Photo identification is a requirement for travel with all airlines.
PD18 commences on Wed 06 June at 8.00am, and concludes on Saturday 09 June at 4.00pm.
Important
Please note that the Captain Cook Highway which runs from Port Douglas to Cairns Airport will be completely closed to all traffic on Sunday 10 June 2018 for the Cairns Ironman event (road closed 5.30am - 5.30pm).
You are encouraged to stay in Port Douglas at the conclusion of the meeting (a reminder for delegates from NSW, VIC and SA that Monday 11 June is a public holiday).
Please note that Cairns Airport is approximately a one hour drive from Port Douglas via shuttle coach, or 45 minutes by private car.

Kindly note that the cost of transfers between Cairns Airport and Port Douglas and return are not included. However, bookings and direct payment can be made as follows:

Exemplar offer a “seat in coach” transfer between Cairns Airport and most accommodation venues in Port Douglas, and returning to the airport. Please have flight details confirmed prior to booking this service. Bookings close on 08 May.
These transfers are the individual cost of the delegate, and need to be paid by credit card at the time of reservation.

If you require flights to be arranged for your Accompanying Person (Partner) please indicate this and details will be confirmed to you prior to ticketing. Please include credit card details for payment of airfares for your Accompanying Person.
