Registration opens in December 2017 and closes on Friday 04 May 2018.

 

The Meeting commences at 8.00am on Wednesday 06 June and concludes at 4.00pm on Saturday 09 June.   

 

Important
Please note that the Captain Cook Highway which runs from Port Douglas to Cairns Airport will be completely closed to all traffic on Sunday 10 June 2018 for the Cairns Ironman event (road closed 5.30am - 5.30pm).

You are encouraged to stay in Port Douglas at the conclusion of the meeting (a reminder for delegates from NSW, VIC and SA that Monday 11 June is a public holiday).

 

Please Note:

Registration will be accepted from doctors and affiliates (ie nurses, cardiac technicians and sonographers, registrars, trainees and fellows).  Trade registration will only be accepted from companies who are sponsors and/or exhibitors of the 2018 Port Douglas Heart Meeting & Expo.

 

All costs are shown in Australian dollars, are per person and are inclusive of GST which is currently 10%.  Registration Fees for all delegate types do not include flights or accommodation – please refer to the Travel and Accommodation sections for further details on options available.

Registration Fees

Advanced Trainees in Cardiology/Fellows in Training FREE Registration Fee

With thanks to AstraZeneca, the first 40 Advanced Trainees in Cardiology/Fellows in Training to register will receive complimentary meeting registration. Please complete a registration at the registration site. Please choose the registration type “Advanced Trainee in Cardiology/Fellow in Training” and upon receipt of your registration, your status as an Advanced Trainee in Cardiology/Fellow in Training will be verified. Please note that payment of a $100.00 registration fee is required, and when you have attended the meeting, your registration fee will be refunded in full to you. As part of your complimentary registration, it is a requirement that you will prepare and deliver a short presentation to your department colleagues/peers regarding the key learning points of PD18 within 6 weeks of conclusion of the meeting.

$1,100.00     Early Bird Registration prior to 28 February 2018                

$1,200.00     Normal Registration 01 March – 27 April 2018                     

$1,350.00     Late Registration 28 April – 04 May 2018                            

 

Affiliate Registration Fees

(Nurses, Cardiac Technicians, Sonographers, Advanced Trainees in Cardiology, Fellows in Training):

$750.00        Early Bird Registration prior to 28 February 2018                

$850.00        Normal Registration 01 March – 27 April 2018                     

$900.00        Late Registration 28 April – 04 May 2018

  • Welcome Cocktail Reception for one hour including canapés and drinks (dinner not included) on Wednesday 06 June

  • Delegate information pack.

 

Trade Registration includes:

  • All meeting and scientific sessions as outlined in the meeting program for main meeting from 07 – 09 June 2018 (excludes Wednesday 06 June)

  • Arrival coffee and pastries (three mornings)

  • Three morning tea breaks, two afternoon tea breaks and three meeting lunches (Thursday - Saturday inclusive)

  • Welcome Cocktail Reception for one hour including canapés and drinks (dinner not included)

  • Delegate information pack.

 

Accompanying Person Registration includes:

  • Three meeting lunches (Thursday - Saturday inclusive)

  • Welcome Cocktail Reception for one hour including canapés and drinks (dinner not included)

 

Day Registration includes:

  • Meeting and scientific sessions as outlined in the meeting program for selected day

  • Arrival coffee and pastries

Method of Payment for Registration and Accommodation

Please click on the registration link below to proceed to the secure registration site.

 

Direct Deposit Payment - If you are paying by direct deposit or bank transfer, you will be provided with a tax invoice which will show the bank account details.  Please do not transfer payment until you have received a tax invoice.  The tax invoice will advise what reference number to use when you transfer your payment.

 

Credit Card Payment - If you are paying by credit card, you will receive an email confirmation with the tax invoice attached, showing as paid by credit card.  The merchant name "The Travel Authority" will appear on your statement.

 

Cheque Payment - If you are paying by cheque, you will receive an email confirmation with tax invoice attached.  Cheques can be forwarded upon receipt of the tax invoice and should be payable to “The Travel Authority”.  Please ensure cheques are marked to the attention of Sharon Bain.

 

Please note that your registration will not be confirmed until payment has been received.
